We had been requested to create a sensory and imaginative play area around the trees at Virginia Primary School, that could be used in all weathers and utilises the existing space to its maximum.
The design incorporates platforms at different heights to create stages, seating areas and multi-level play, built around the trees.
There are musical instruments positioned around the decks to encourage exploration of sound and co-operation among friends.
The Storytelling area provides a quiet space for small groups to read together or for outdoor teaching. And the Jungle Play Den is perfect for active and imaginative play with climbing opportunities and a den.
