A large Primary School located between Peterborough and Cambridge. They required a dis-used space being developed for the younger children that incorporated physical play and imaginative play. The School also required our assistance to access funding for this project.
Schoolscapes worked with the School to put together a successful proposal to access a £10,000 funding grant. The Jungle Play Ship is a great source of non-prescribed play and can take on many imaginative forms. The weaving poles at the front are a great physical challenge that aids with the development of gross motor skills. The Resin Bound Rubber Bark surfacing around this adds additional interest for the children whilst providing a safe surface for play.
We were extremely happy with the service provided by Schoolscapes for this project. You were supportive and informative throughout, from the planning of the apparatus, the lottery grant process, to the actual installation.
