Young children can build their climbing confidence and overcome challenges through safe risk taking on the inspiring Treetops Four tower, designed for children age 4+. This clever design promotes both child-led, social and active play, as well as providing a base for a wide range of adult led activities in the Early Years playground. Treetops Four includes 2 timber decks, a Clatter Bridge with rope ladder, scramble net, galvanised steel ladders, zig zag rope climbers, jungle swing climber, curved ladder and slide, which will develop children’s overall strength, coordination, balance, core stability and fine motor-skills as well as their overall agility through active play. Children will particularly love traversing the clatter bridge and discovering whether a troll hides beneath!

Young children have a desire to learn through discovery and exploration! By providing an interesting climbing frame as part of their outside provision, Early Years Providers will see an increase in the time children choose to be physically active. With no set entry points, the beauty of this tower is that children are free to choose their own routes and methods of exploration, promoting creativity.

It also provides exciting opportunities for imaginative and creative play. Children will be inspired to talk about their achievements and adventures on board Treetops Four, and this will help develop their language and communication skills. Children will actively demonstrate their learning and Early Years Practitioners will be able to note pupils’ levels of development.

Treetops Four will help EYFS settings to provide learning opportunities through a relevant, motivating, flexible and interesting curriculum.
