The Wobbly Bridge is a popular Adventure Trail item suitable for any age group and provides an exciting challenge for Key Stage 1 and EYFS users, encouraging hand-eye coordination, balance and imagination.

  • Dimensions: 2.5m W: 1.0m

Adventure Trails naturally encourage active play. They are a fantastic way to enable children to challenge themselves and their friends. They create a fun and exciting challenge, giving children the opportunity to test and develop their strength, balance, co-ordination and agility. Active play encourages cooperation, competition, and using the imagination. It also strengthens relationships, develops communication skills and builds confidence through teamwork, determination, resilience and fun.

Why not use the Adventure Trail components as part of a fun warm-up in your PE lessons? Push your children to rise to a physical challenge and, for example, get as far as they can without touching the ground. If they can’t master it on their first try, make this a personal challenge for them so they can succeed and improve. Creating physical challenges will teach your children about setting their own personal targets.

The Wobbly Bridge adds an unstable section to the trail at Christian Malford Primary School, testing balance and nerve as children make their way across.
