Ready Steady Go! RED NOSE DAY 2019 is nearly here!

This Friday on 15 March, people across the country will be coming together to have a go at doing anything funny or fun to raise money for Comic Relief. No matter how big or small a gesture or activity, all the small donations of money add up in the end, making supporting people in need both in the UK and around the world that little bit easier. The more money raised the more of a difference the Comic Relief team can make.

It’s definitely not too late to join in the fun. So here are our 6 best simple, but funny ideas to make your friends and family laugh and raise some money, to help the cause.

1. Have a crazy joke competition. Make sure you have an entry fee for donations, and then focus on making everyone smile and be as creative as you like!
2. Wear something red for the day and give a donation for participating. We like wearing red pants on the head the best!
3. Make an obstacle course involving having to dress up as a something, picking up hats, and clothes along the way.
4. Make use of your school or local playground climbing play tower and string up a washing line of everyone’s pants… then charge a fee to guess the pants to the person!
5. Bake something that is tasty, but looks odd or funny, and have a bake sale. We like emoji cakes here at Schoolscapes… they certainly make us laugh!
6. Hold a danceathon in wigs on your outdoor stage, whatever the weather… now that may be funny if this wind keeps up! Who will keep their hair on?
